A LOVE FOR RACING
Robert’s story begins with a Christmas present. He was just 4 years old when he awoke to his first go kart sitting in the living room of his Duncannon, Pennsylvania home. His father raced go karts and his grandfather raced stock cars, so the family was excited to see if Robert would also take to the sport. There is no question that racing is part of Robert’s DNA!
With only a few months of experience, Robert started racing go karts on local dirt tracks. By 6, he moved to asphalt road courses, gaining multiple national championship wins.
In March of 2016, at just 12 years old Robert was accepted into the Skip Barber School of Racing. Normally the age minimum is 14, but they made an exception because of his experience. After the three-day course, Robert was cleared to compete.
